Are you an experienced Lettings Property Manager looking for your next challenge? A leading estate agency in Southport is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable individual to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a residential portfolio of 150–250 properties across the North West.
With a strong base salary, performance-based bonuses, and clear career progression, this role offers excellent earning potential within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of 150–250 residential properties, ensuring maintenance, compliance, and tenant satisfaction.
  • Oversee inspections, repairs, compliance checks (gas safety, EICRs, EPCs, landlord licensing), and tenancy lifecycles.
  • Handle escalated issues including disputes and complex maintenance matters.
  • Manage tenancies from start to finish: move-ins, renewals, checkouts, and deposit returns.
  • Ensure timely rent collection and oversee arrears management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors.
  • Conduct property valuations and promote additional services where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate, compliant records and stay up-to-date with legislation (e.g., TDP, GDPR, landlord licensing).
  • Offer financial advice to landlords, including statements and expenditure updates.
  • Contribute to business growth by retaining clients and attracting new landlords.
  • Resolve complex issues with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Deliver top-tier customer service at all times.

What You’ll Need

  • Previous experience in lettings and property management (essential).
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Sound knowledge of current lettings legislation and compliance requirements.
