Salary: £39,500
Location: Reading
Hours: Monday – Friday – 9am-5pm – Full time and part time available

- This role involves doing functional assessments for people who are claiming employment support allowance (ESA).
- You must be an RGN, RMN or OT hold an NMC/HCPC registration and have at least one year’s experience in your position.

- To ensure you transition and build a strong foundation you will be placed on a 12-week supported training course led by professional clinicians. You will be supported throughout the whole process and have a mentor to guide you.

Duties and responsibilities
- You will do face to face and telephone assessments of customers for the ESA benefit and provide a report to the DWP.
- Use IT programmes to help support clinical decision making with file work and examinations.
- You will work with an MDT building good relationships with both clinical colleagues and administrative staff.
- Gather all necessary clinical information and medical evidence related to the case.
- Ensuring that professional standards and best practices are maintained across all areas of work.
