Educated to degree level, and with a wealth of experience in a variety of roles in both fashion retailing and in the world of styling, I diversified into my new role for Everpool in 2022. I began my career studying fashion and it has progressed through retail, personal styling, merchandising and working as a brand ambassador. My in-depth and behind-the-scenes knowledge of how the industry works means I am best-placed to link candidates with their dream roles.
As Everpool’s Fashion Recruitment Account Manager, I have my own experience of working with brands at every level, from specialist to high street, e-commerce, and premium level brands, and take that with me when sourcing new employment positions and ideal candidates to fit them perfectly. Over the past decade I have observed frequent changes and developments in fashion as its working practices evolve: from sustainability and flexibility at every level, it is vital to stay in tune with adapted industry standards.
Fashion recruitment covers a diversity of roles within the industry including head office positions, store/development managers, merchandisers, buying, marketing, styling, model roles, photography work to name but a few. I use all of my previous experience across the industry, from setting up a unique VIP style studio for River Island, to styling on shoots for leading brands such as Lavish Alice and Miss Pap, and magazines like OK!, to attract, match and prepare the right applicants for relevant positions.
Fashion is not only my passion – it has given me a wonderful career so far, where hard work and determination, as well as self-belief, have to be part of your personal wardrobe in order to succeed. I have also been able to assist across the Everpool portfolio to help support them in terms of creativity, marketing and social media presence, too.
