Everpool Recruitment is working in partnership with Serco to recruit PIP Disability Assessors in Weston-super-Mare.
This is an opportunity to transfer your existing clinical skills into a new role, using your professional judgement, assessment experience and clinical reasoning in a structured environment.
What does the role involve?
As a PIP Disability Assessor, you will assess how an individual’s physical and mental health conditions affect their ability to manage everyday activities and mobility.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing medical evidence and gathering relevant clinical information.
- Conducting structured telephone, video and face-to-face assessments.
- Exploring how health conditions impact daily living and mobility.
- Applying clinical knowledge and professional judgement to assess functional ability.
- Producing clear, accurate and evidence-based assessment reports.
- Providing objective clinical information to support the DWP’s decision-making process.

Who are we looking for?
- Registered Nurses (RGN, RMN or RNLD).
- Occupational Therapists.
- Physiotherapists.
- HCPC-registered Paramedics.
- GPhC-registered Pharmacists.
Essential requirements:
- Full, active and unrestricted NMC, HCPC or GPhC registration.
- At least 12 months’ post-registration UK clinical experience.
- Relevant experience working with adults.
- Strong communication, clinical reasoning and report-writing skills.
