This is an exciting opportunity to move into a specialist clinical assessment role, where you’ll use your existing knowledge and experience to understand how health conditions affect an individual’s ability to function and participate in work-related activities.

Your role will involve:
- Carrying out structured assessments and gathering detailed clinical histories.
- Reviewing medical evidence and considering the impact of diagnosed conditions.
- Exploring physical, mental and cognitive limitations.
- Applying clinical reasoning to assess an individual’s functional abilities.
- Producing comprehensive, objective and evidence-based reports.
- Providing clinical recommendations to support the DWP’s decision-making process.

Could this be your next move? We’re looking for professionals with:
- A Registered Nurse qualification (RGN, RMN or RNLD).
- An Occupational Therapy qualification.
- A Physiotherapy qualification.
Essential requirements:
- Full, active and unrestricted NMC or HCPC registration.
- At least 12 months’ post-registration UK clinical experience.
- Relevant experience working with adults.
- Excellent communication and clinical reasoning skills.
- Confidence in reviewing information, making professional judgements and producing written reports.
Salary: £42,000 increasing to £43,000 after 12 months
Location: Southampton
