The Role
As a PIP Functional Assessor, you’ll use your clinical knowledge to:
- Conduct telephone and face-to-face assessments
- Review medical evidence and supporting documentation
- Evaluate how health conditions impact daily living and functional ability
- Produce clear, evidence-based reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
- PIP Disability Assessor (3 assessments per day)
Full Paid Training & Support Provided
You’ll receive a comprehensive 12-week paid training programme covering:
- Functional assessment methodology
- DWP legislation and guidance
- Professional report writing
- Quality standards and best practice

Requirements
- NMC or HCPC or GPHC registration
- Minimum 1 year of post-registration clinical experience
- At least 1 year of active professional registration
- Strong communication and assessment skills
- Good IT and report-writing abilities
