Everpool Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading provider of disability assessment services to recruit experienced healthcare professionals.
THE PACKAGE
- £50,000 starting salary
- £51,000 salary after 6 months
- Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
- Home working and hybrid working opportunities
- Full-time and part-time opportunities available
- No nights, weekends or bank holidays
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

THE ROLE
As a Disability Assessor, you will use your existing clinical knowledge and experience to assess how a person’s health conditions or disabilities affect their everyday life.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing medical evidence and relevant clinical information.
- Carrying out structured assessments by telephone, video or face-to-face.
- Exploring the impact of health conditions on daily living and mobility.
- Applying your clinical knowledge and professional judgement.
- Producing clear, accurate and objective assessment reports.
- Providing information to support DWP decision-making.
No previous Functional Assessor experience is required! You will receive comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you transition successfully into the role.

- Registered Nurses (RGN, RMN or RNLD)
- Occupational Therapists
- Physiotherapists
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Full, active and unrestricted NMC or HCPC registration.
- Minimum of 12 months’ post-registration UK clinical experience.
- Experience working with adults.
- Strong communication, clinical reasoning and report-writing skills.
- Confidence using your clinical knowledge to make evidence-based assessments.
