We’re looking for experienced healthcare professionals who are ready to step away from traditional hands-on clinical roles and explore an exciting new direction.

- £40,000 salary, increasing to £42,000 after 12 months.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?As a PIP Disability Assessor, you’ll use your existing clinical knowledge and expertise to assess how an individual’s health conditions or disabilities affect their everyday life.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing medical evidence and clinical information.
- Conducting structured telephone, video and face-to-face assessments.
- Understanding how physical and mental health conditions affect daily living and mobility.
- Using your clinical judgement to assess functional ability.
- Producing accurate, evidence-based assessment reports.
- Supporting the DWP’s decision-making process through objective clinical assessments.
No previous Functional Assessor experience is needed!
You’ll receive comprehensive, fully paid training to help you transition into your new role, alongside ongoing support from experienced clinical colleagues and training teams.
WHO CAN APPLY?We’re keen to hear from:
- Registered Nurses (RGN, RMN, RNLD).
- Occupational Therapists.
- Physiotherapists.
- HCPC-registered Paramedics.
- Pharmacists.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Full, active and unrestricted NMC, HCPC or GPhC registration.
- Minimum 12 months’ post-registration UK clinical experience.
- Experience working with adults.
- Excellent communication, clinical reasoning and report-writing skills.
