Everpool Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading provider of disability assessment services to recruit PIP Disability Assessors in Slough.
We’re looking for experienced healthcare professionals who are ready to move away from traditional hands-on clinical roles and take their careers in a new direction.

- £47,000 starting salary.
- £48,000 after 6 months.
- £49,000 after 12 months.
- Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?As a PIP Disability Assessor, you’ll use your existing clinical knowledge and expertise to assess how an individual’s health conditions or disabilities affect their everyday life.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing medical evidence and clinical information.
- Conducting structured telephone, video and face-to-face assessments.
- Exploring how physical and mental health conditions affect daily living and mobility.
- Applying your clinical knowledge and professional judgement to assess functional ability.
- Producing clear, accurate and evidence-based assessment reports.
- Providing objective clinical information to support the DWP’s decision-making process.
No previous Functional Assessor experience is required!
You’ll receive comprehensive, fully paid training to help you transition into your new role, alongside ongoing support from experienced clinical colleagues and dedicated training teams.
WHO CAN APPLY?We’re interested in hearing from:
- Registered Nurses (RGN, RMN or RNLD).
- Occupational Therapists.
- Physiotherapists.
- HCPC-registered Paramedics.
- Pharmacists.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Full, active and unrestricted NMC, HCPC or GPhC registration.
- Minimum 12 months’ post-registration UK clinical experience.
- Experience working with adults.
- Excellent communication, clinical reasoning and report-writing skills.
