Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children and young people? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Plymouth.

Salary: £28,740 – £29,500

Location: Plymouth

Hours: Shift patterns vary – rota-based system (You must be flexible)

Purpose: To offer guidance and support to young people who are living in supported accommodation and are working towards independence. The organisation assists vulnerable youth with complex social care needs, providing tailored support in shared or individual housing, fostering self-development and essential skills to help them achieve independence.

Key Requirements:

  • NVQ/QCF level 3 award in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) or Caring for Children and Young People is essential for this role.
  • Flexible availability for shifts on a 3-week rota (A, B, or C shift).
  • Working hours: 09.00 am – 09.30 am with a sleeping period from 11.00 pm to 07.00 am.
  • Competitive Pay: £11.43 per hour, with an additional £60.00 for sleep shifts.


  • Enhanced overtime rate between £15.35 & £16.38 per hour.
