Elevate Your Career as a Nurse Disability Assessor – Home based*
Starting Salary: £42,000 – £43,000 upon training completion, £44,000 at 1 year service (performance-related), plus an exciting Bi-Annual 10% incentive bonus.
Virtual Training: Complete your training from the comfort of your own home!
Are you ready for a new adventure in your career? Join us on an extraordinary journey as we revolutionise traditional nursing roles! We are on the lookout for Nurses (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Occupational Therapists, and Physiotherapists to embark on this thrilling opportunity.
Why Choose Us:
- Maintain Your Credentials: Recognised by the NMC, our role allows you to keep your NMC/HCPC pin while working from the cosy confines of your home* (occasional site visits may be required)
- Remote On-boarding: Our completely remote on-boarding and training process make joining us a breeze.
Two Distinct Paths:
- Back Office: Dive into the world of reviewing PIP cases and completing paper-based reviews (PBR’s) from the comfort of your home. Be the first to assess PIP cases, including those involving terminally ill cases, and gather essential medical evidence.
- Front Office: Engage in telephone assessments with individuals with various physical, mental health, and learning disabilities. Then, craft comprehensive reports based on your findings. As a Disability Assessor, you’ll step away from traditional clinical roles, focusing on assessments and detailed reporting, devoid of treatment, diagnosis, or hands-on care. However, you’ll still leverage your clinical skills and knowledge.
What We Seek:
- Post-qualification experience as a Nurse, Physiotherapist, Paramedic, or Occupational Therapist.
- Active registration with NMC/HCPC without restrictions.
- No prior Disability Assessor experience required; we provide comprehensive training. However, applicants must hold qualifications in nursing, physiotherapy, paramedicine, or occupational therapy.
- A suitable home work space to effectively perform your role.
Perks of the Role:
- Comprehensive Training: Receive full-time salary during your training.
- Leave and Benefits: Enjoy 25 days of annual leave, plus all eight bank holidays, private medical insurance, annual leave buy/sell option, health screening, and NMC/HCPC fee reimbursement.
- Professional Growth: Access continuous professional development and support for re-validation.
- Financial Security: Benefit from a stakeholder pension scheme with employer contributions of up to 10% of your basic salary.
Choose Your Work space: Tailor your work environment – home-based or office-based – to suit your preference*!
*Site visits may be required occasionally throughout the month – up to 8 times depending on your location.
