Two Distinct Paths:
- Back Office: Dive into the world of reviewing PIP cases and completing paper-based reviews (PBR’s) from the comfort of your home*. Be the first to assess PIP cases, including those involving terminally ill cases, and gather essential medical evidence.
- Front Office: Engage in telephone assessments with individuals with various physical, mental health, and learning disabilities. Then, craft comprehensive reports based on your findings. As a Disability Assessor, you’ll step away from traditional clinical roles, focusing on assessments and detailed reporting, devoid of treatment, diagnosis, or hands-on care. However, you’ll still leverage your clinical skills and knowledge.
What We Seek:
- Post-qualification experience as a Nurse, Physiotherapist, Paramedic, or Occupational Therapist.
- Active registration with NMC/HCPC without restrictions.
- No prior Disability Assessor experience required; we provide comprehensive training. However, applicants must hold qualifications in nursing, physiotherapy, paramedicine, or occupational therapy.
- A suitable home work space to effectively perform your role.
