The role will pay a salary of up to £35,000 depending on experience. Description
The successful Assistant Management Accountant will be reporting into the Finance Manager as part of an integral team to the business, and will be responsible for the following:
- Management Accounts Production including full balance sheet disclosure and KPIs
- Assist with continuous review and improvement of financial controls
- Assist with Budgeting and Forecasting
- Year end audit folders including drafting of statutory accounts and liaison with Auditors
- Payroll processing, reconciliation and liaison with external Bureau
- Maintenance of fixed asset register
- Responsible for compliance with all current VAT legislation from a day-to day paperwork perspective and submitting the VAT return in a timely accurate fashion
- Due diligence and financial modelling ref acquisitions and disposals
- Ad-hoc analysis
Profile
The successful Assistant Management Accountant will need to have the following:
- Team Player
- Reliable and responsible
- Sage 50 knowledge would be desirable
- Excellent double entry knowledge
- Inquisitive and commercially focused
- Methodical and organised
- Must have a minimum of two years management accounts experience
