HR Advisor with TUPE and Transition Experience
Location: Northwest/South/Northeast/UK Wide (location is flexible)

Fixed Term Contract – Until September 2024 approx.
Our client is a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation that values its employees and is committed to fostering a positive work environment. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Advisor with expertise in TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment) and transition management to join our HR team.
Position Overview
As an HR Advisor with TUPE and transition experience, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless transition of employees during mergers, acquisitions, and other organisational changes. You will provide expert guidance, support, and advice to our HR team and senior leadership, helping to manage the legal and HR aspects of employee transfers while maintaining employee morale and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for TUPE-related matters, both internally and externally.
- Provide expert advice and consultation to senior management and HR team regarding TUPE and transition processes.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements during transitions.
- Collaborate with legal counsel and external consultants as needed.
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to keep employees informed and engaged during transitions.
- Conduct training and workshops for HR and management teams on TUPE and transition best practices.
- Work closely with HR and other departments to facilitate a smooth transition process for employees.
- Manage employee relations and address concerns or issues related to transitions.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all TUPE and transition activities.
- Stay updated on HR and employment law developments related to TUPE and transitions.
- Experience of supporting and guiding Managers on Absence Management policy and processes is essential.
- Strong understanding of UK&I employment legislation
- Expert in Microsoft office tools, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Strong HR ER experience gained in high volume, transactional environments with disciplinary, grievance, probation and sickness absence management cases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- HR advisory experience, with a focus on TUPE and transition management.
- Level 5 CIPD
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of TUPE regulations and employment law.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
