Salary: £43,450
Location: Croydon
Working Pattern: Hybrid, 37.5 hrs (09:00 am – 17:00 pm) – No Weekends or Bank Holidays!
We do offer Part Time working hours after FTE 10-week training programme.

Use your clinical skills in a non-traditional setting to help individuals receive essential support and improve their quality of life. The Work Capability Assessment (WCA) determines eligibility for benefits due to illness or disability, primarily for Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) and Universal Credit. You’ll evaluate how an individual’s condition affects their ability to work, ensuring they get the support they need.

Personal Requirements:

  • Occupational Therapist / RGN / RNLD / RMN / Physiotherapist
  • MUST Have: 2 years qualified with a 2-year registration on the NMC/HCPC and 2 years’ clinical experience
  • Strong communication and typing skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, in a team, and autonomously

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct face-to-face assessments to evaluate benefit eligibility
  • Review and analyse medical evidence and health questionnaires
  • Compile detailed; accurate reports based on assessment findings
  • Determine the impact of claimants’ conditions on their ability to work
  • Communicate effectively with claimants about the assessment process
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines
  • Ensure all assessments are conducted professionally and empathetically
