About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Audit Senior to join a dynamic audit team in Oxford. This is a permanent role, available on a full-time or part-time basis, with hybrid and flexible working options to fit your lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex and diverse audit assignments across multiple sectors, collaborating with managers and partners as needed.
- Prepare audit files, conduct audit planning, and manage or assist with fieldwork.
- Allocate tasks, supervise junior team members on audits, provide training, and review their work.
- Deliver high-standard audit assignments within agreed budgets and deadlines.
- Oversee and review work completed by junior staff members.
- Utilize accounting software to prepare accurate reports for clients, managers, and directors.
- Prepare statutory accounts and finalize them under the supervision of a line manager.
- Compile corporation tax computations.
- Stay updated on technical and industry developments to ensure top-quality service.
- Assist with service pricing and support new client proposals.
- Build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Develop technical knowledge through hands-on training and experience.

About You:
- ACCA/ACA qualified or close to qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in UK audit practice, with some exposure to accounts work.
- A degree (2:1 or higher) or a strong A-Level record (A, B, B or above).
- Familiarity with Xero, Sage, Caseware, and CCH software is advantageous.
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong IT skills, particularly in Excel.
- Positive, proactive, and confident in building relationships.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards of output.
- A collaborative team player who is also self-motivated and adaptable.
