About the Role

We are seeking an Audit Manager to join a growing audit team in Northampton. This is a permanent, full-time role offering hybrid and flexible working options tailored to your lifestyle.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and apply your technical and commercial expertise to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Manage a diverse client portfolio, serving as the primary point of contact and fostering strong client relationships.
  • Lead and complete audit assignments, managing teams, budgets, billing, and client satisfaction.
  • Support business development through proposals, tenders, and the identification of new opportunities.
  • Contribute to team management, improve audit procedures, and support broader compliance initiatives.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional growth.
  • Stay updated on technical developments in auditing and accounting, delivering training to maintain high standards.

About You:

  • ACCA/ACA qualified with at least 1–2 years of post-qualification experience in practice.
  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience in UK accountancy practice.
  • Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or Manager.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality audits.
  • A self-starter with a commercial mindset and a strong aptitude for business development.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client management skills.
